Great collab from you both!!  the words tell a situation a little tight but its very good, very descriptive.
Is impossible that you lose the muse Jim, You are the muse!!

It was  nice when the rhythm stopped suddenly with accordance to the lyrics, very original.
Now I go try and find that Muse before I loose myself somewhere for another year haha!!!

It was  nice when the rhythm stopped suddenly with accordance to the lyrics,

the song actually was born from that moment, i recorded the drum track first with no idea what i was gonna do afterswards and thought i would have a dramatic pause, but i f'#ked up my timing and started them up again at the wrong time.
drums where from the juno and just changed the patterns on the fly hit stop then counted a few beats and hit start again, but my timing is pish. so that error informed the rest, that and the music is just me going round in a big circle trying to find a hook and failing miserably.

Nice job

You are lucky to be able to find your muse even when its not there.

I often wonder where it all comes from  but its best not to think about it too much.

I like how the muse for songwriting only needs to give you a spark.  My wife is an author and she needs to keep the muse in town for months at a time.
