BR800 importing several waves of a song.

I'm hoping to be bringing in song tracks (saved as waves) from backups done on my Korg or my MBR.
I understand we copy them via USB into the sketch folder.(PG118)
But I'm unclear how we get them from the sketch folder into a song as separate tracks, say for mastering?
Does it allocate or distribute them one wave per track into a new song somehow?

Or
Is it done in the software (Sonar) by importing waves to Sonar and then USB linking to a new song in the BR? (pg 119)

Ah! of course. Perfect. thanks. I'm over-thinking again.
I've used it with the MBR, but the other direction.

Next dumb question:
I inserted the BR chip into the computer and set the drive to E: (the chip) in the wave converter,
I selected a new empty song to import to,
I set the function to go from file to BR and made the first box red.
I clicked go and it opened a search box.
I clicked on a wave and it crashed the wave converter Program.

Geir

you did select "WAVE CONVERTER" from the "USB" menu on the BR800 ?

I've never had the problem myself

I just pulled the chip out of the BR (when it was off) and stuck it into the computers card slot.
Also I had version 2 and D/L'ed the version 3.10 of the converter.
Between the two, it seems to be working as you described.
Thanks.
