Inside a casket, ... broken dreams
six feet under, it starts to leak
six feet over he gets a whiff
assembles the puzzle piece by piece

on salty water  a thought is born
sailing regardless of a coming storm
the mast is broken, the engine is dead
a bird in the sky , an island ahead

from a blue trumpet a signal is heard
rising red notes of a song he once learned
from a well that's been covered with branches and leafs
blood of redemption quietly seeps

the tranquil evening, the purple sky
the ocean a mirror, moon promised hope
the image of a rope to hang on to one day
a glimpse of a face with sparkling eyes

Yeah, music is your friend lately.  I get a real Leonard Cohen feeling from this one, the stuttering, almost waltz like rhythm, the almost spoken lyrics.  This is totally fantastic.  Untouchable indeed.

Yeah... Folkfest material for sure. Have to agree with BB here got that Cohen vibe also... the harp leads you into thinking its gonna be Neil Young song... Stunning harp playin by the way. I need to get some more of them there thangs. Need to do a harp song soon. Great tune Geir. Love it.
