Bro

Hey just recently i made some patches, it took a long time and i put a lot of effort into it.
So everything is fine until, i yesterday turned on my br, and they were gone?! It kind of pissed me of! I made them on the S01, S02 and so on, but why did they disappear? Can i get them again? And how do i make new ones, if thats not the right way i do it?  ???
Anyway Thanks for the replys on my first subject.
Looking forward to hear from you :)
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.

Did you save your patches? They are not saved automatically. You have to press [TR3](WRI) to write the changes to the desired patch area. See pages 63 and 64 of the Micro BR manual.

There are three types of effects patches. Preset patches are read-only, so you can't save your patches there. You have to save your patches in either the User or Song patch areas. Song patches are stored on the memory card in the current song's folder and cannot be used in other songs. So, to use these patches, you have to select the same song that they were saved in. User patches are stored in the Micro BR's internal flash memory and can be used in any song. However, they cannot be backed up directly. So, if you ever reset your Micro BR (Initialize All Settings - page 110), the User patches will be lost. The only way to back them up is to first copy them to the Song patch area, then backup the memory card.

User patches in the GTR bank are designated U01 through U80, and Song patches in the GTR bank are designated S01 through S80. When you save your patch, you have to press the [-]/[+] buttons to select the type (U or S) and patch number to which you want to save your patch (step 6 on page 64).

You should always save your patches to the Song patch area first. Then, if it's a patch that you might want to use on other songs, you can save it to the User area too. That way, the patch will be backed up (from the Song patch area) to your computer the next time you backup your memory card.

By the way, Song patches can be copied to other songs by selecting the desired Song patch, writing it to the User area, switching to the other song, selecting the User patch, and writing it to the Song area.
