FolkFest - "Lager" a Geir original

This started out as a guitar-noodling that sounded very folky. When it was finished I was sure I had stolen it from someone .... so I've held it back a few days .... now I'm quite sure most of it stolen from myself so here it is

I am looking forward to the day
that I can say
I have finally buildt my home
No more walls to tear down
no more roofs to build
no more pain(t) to vent out
no more drains ....

I want to sit down in the garden
with the lovely woman AND some wine
I want to watch the flowers grow
until it starts to snow ... and then ...

I'll have a cup of coffee
and maybe something hot
sit down by the fireplace and play
no worries for the future
no worries for the past
I'll just make sure the fire will last

I want to go out in the garden
with an angel in the snow and one inside
I want to watch the snow vanish as
the sun climbs up the sky and touch the moon

I'll have an ice-cold lager
and maybe have a shot
of some happy brew brought home from abroad
I've thrown away my watch
I've thrown away my clothes
I've got nothing left to hide inside this box

Geez Geir you just blow me away in all aspects of this song. The guitar sounds wonderful!
