A song about my beloved 1955 Chevrolet that I've had for 26 years. Got her as a rust bucket now she's pristine.

Farrell Jackson - songwriter, co-production, all vocals, guitar and bass.

DrC- co-production, all keys and drums.

Gary Carciello - guest lead guitar solo.
My 55 Chevrolet

Crusin' down the road in my 55 Chevrolet
Open all the windows let my troubles blow away
I dig the vibe she gives me, it takes away my stress
I got my mag wheels, my white letter tires
Two tone paint, I can set the world on fire
With a V8 under foot, it's easy to de-compress

She's a sporty 2 door, 4 on the floor
I ain't got no complaints

With my baby by my side snuggled up real close
a pop of the clutch for a show of thunder and smoke
There's no better feelin; she's got to be the best

She's a sporty 2 door, 4 on the floor
I ain't got no complaints

With an 8 track stereo and a custom steering wheel
Waxed to the max let's make the tires squeal
I'm a kid once again, it doesn't get better than this
(repeat 1st verse)

Great song and huge sound Farell.
Those horns are a wicked addition.

I can definitely hear the Queen influence in the BG vox.

This is a really pro job man.
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover

Thanks Geir, Willie, Gnasty, and Vanncad for the listening and for the good comments! Gnasty, with the songwriting and performance skils I've heard at this site....I think we should all be rich rockstars, lol! After listening to Gary's lead guitar solo, you can hear why I didn't do it myself. Gary has some awesome guitar skills...I'll pass on the good words to the other guys also.

Thanks!
