Act of Union - More music for adult films

Like Willy's recent post, this song was inspired by the sort of mucky video me and my mates used to rent from the local video rental shop back the 80's.  And because we watched Boogie Nights last night.

This was the first recording I made with the new Zoom R16, around a year ago, although it goes back to circa 1989 when it the first version was made.  It's an instrumental in 5/4.

Actually, they're programmed into the BOSS DR5 I use for most things.  Although on the 80's original they were played on a keyboard, I 'spose.

Music for a video nasty?    Personally, it reminded me more of the music you might hear in Hong Kong action movies from the 90s. Solid soundtrack material.

I like it quite a lot - it's complex with the mix of piano and snaky lead guitar, and it's all got the 80s/90s gloss to it.

You could be right , not totally up on the musical theory around this.  I think 5/4 or 10/8, although there is a sneaky bar of 5/8 tucked in occasionally too, to spice it up a bit.
