Using a Mic into Guitar input

I'd like to get this apex 460 working with the Micro as it has great quality/cost/flex for my level of abilities for a the foreseeable future and I do love the vox and acoustic guitar sounds it gets into my Korg 1200 DAW. Way better than I deserve. I get that all too rare "damn I'm good" feeling from it there.

I'm thinking I'll buy an adapter to bypass the transformer just in case that's the reason for the lackluster production in the Micro.
