Just noticed I'd had a bit to drink when I first commented on this song when you first posted it.  Same again! Just finished work for 2 weeks - got Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup Final tomorrow, going to Budapest for 5 days on Monday, got to try and catch the Wigan v Arsenal game on Tuesday night, back home Friday. Wigan v Villa on Saturday.  Then a week at home.  If we're relegated I'm sure I'll be depressed enough to knock out another Smiths song.  If we stay up I'll try and do 2 !  Red wine's going down nicely !!

Best of luck with the football, Pete. When the team I followed as a lad disappeared off the map in the 80's - Newport County - I lost interest in it. But they've just got back into the league a couple of weeks ago so who knows.

Hoping to get time to finish Charming Man but is a busy time. New addition to family due next week.

Such an important band to me, lyrically, musically and through their performances...love me some Smiths. And oh yes those bass lines really make the tunes just as much as Marr of Morrisey. Brilliant cover Nick, not sure how I missed this one, you really nailed it to the wall. Great job with that bas line. Thoroughly enjoyed this!
