Very sad news.

Amy Winehouse was an incredible talent and despite her personal struggles she stood out as a vocalist who needed no help in the studio to sound great. It would be up to the engineer to simply to capture her performance.

Very sad news indeed. Not surprising but sad. I know i`m going off track here but out of the 27 club, would they be as talented and wrote great songs and music if they weren`t drug abusers? I think the demons inside of us bring out great songwriting and albums as well.

It is a shame, I liked a lot of her music. Her father was always very public about trying to help her and beat her addiction, hence the song rehab. I think others around her like record companies should have helped her more knowing how weak she was.
