Hey Tim
Cool story and the acoustic work is awesome.

I love the 3 different parts choruses.

Mandolin huh. I borrowed one from a friend before my wrist went to shit.
When I'm better, I'll try to learn to play it. ;D

Your productions are always so sweet and really suits the folk style.

I've had a mandolin for almost 10 years and never really did anything much with it. My fingers feel like massive, cumbersome sausages on the tiny fretboard, and it never really felt 'right'.

Then I found myself watching Rory Gallagher doing 'Going to my hometown' live - a 1972 gig I think it was. I was absolutely spellbound and inspired. I hadn't been so inspired by anything for years. All this coincided with watching Tharek play close-up. The two things collided, and I found my 'folk' voice.

Mandolins are hard to master - I'm still dabbling, and I only really know D, A and G chords. But it's easier to play along with stuff and just find the right notes to accompany yourself.

Got some more mando stuff on the way. I'm planning to take it on holiday too. I have the bug, lol.

Here's Rory. Wait until he gets the groove on - it's bloody awesome...

Talk about a pro, he knocks down the mic for the mando, lifts the mando up to the vocal mic and continues as if nothing had happened !!

Really cool tune too !

I love the vocal style you used here - wow!! Whatever you are doing there keep it up, it's perfect.

Sweet tune, my goodness! The chorus is catchy as hell and the mando fits perfectly in the mix - Kudos for taming such a sharp instrument.

Another brilliantly crafted song, bro!
