"Walk With Me"
2 weeks after the Woodstock concert, that took place from august 15th thru the 18th in 1969, on a farm owned by Max Yasgur in Bethel, New York, another more intimate concert took place. Financed by the promoters of Woodstock and the city counsel of Bethel, New York, to thank the hundreds of volunteers who stayed behind to help clean up and restore Bethel to it's pre-Woodstock condition.

Because they couldn't get any of the original acts to return, for even a day, the promoters reached out to a rather reclusive singer songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland, (MisterNelson), to come up and entertain the troops.
He reluctantly agrees but only if the concert was not recorded.

This is a digitally re-mastered bootleg recording, of a portion of that concert. Just kidding of course.

This River Runs Deep
By MisterNelson
Verse 1
Hey home town. How have you been?
I've been a bit lonely and it's good to see a friend.
I've been around the world, oh a time or two,
But no matter how green the grass may seem, I always come back to you.
Chorus
I'll climb the mountain high and brave the raging seas.
Because their whiskey's too dry and their honey is never as sweet
Thinking of you is all the comfort I'll ever need.
Because my love's a flowing river and this river runs deep.
Yes my love's a flowing river and this river runs deep.
Verse 2
My beautiful bride, I'm glad to be home.
We had a few choice words and Lord knows I was wrong.
One thing you can take, as the God's honest truth.
Is no matter how green the grass may seem, I'll always come back to you.
Chorus
I'll climb the mountain high and brave the angry seas.
Because their whiskey's too dry and their honey is never as sweet
Thinking of you is all the comfort I'll ever need.
Because our love's a flowing river and this river runs deep.
Yes our love's a flowing river and this river runs deep.
Bridge
I've been to every corner of this great country
I've served her, in foreign lands
But when the job is done, I set my course by the sun.
To get home, as soon, as, I can.
So, let be known, if I don't make it home. ( it had)
nothing to do with, desire.
Let the record show that I'm 6 feet below
And heaven must be raining fire.
Chorus
Cause I'll climb the mountain high and brave the angry seas.
Because their whiskey's too dry and their honey is never as sweet
Thinking of you is all the comfort I'll ever need.
Because my love's a flowing river and this river runs deep.
Yes my love's a flowing river and this river runs deep.

Another absolute stunner.

I think you're doing brilliant stuff. It just gets better and better..

So good I could weep!

I love the whole concept and back-story of this - really inspired stuff. But the song itself is as stunning as it could be. You seriously deserve some kind of recognition for your music - it has a deep and soulful magic that can't be faked. It's so real and natural.

My only complaint? I can't download it and listen to it on my mp3 player!

Beyond wonderful.

Spectacular piece of music. Your key work is stunning, and you've been playing keys for a little over a year if I recall? You are an absurdly gifted individual man. This is an incredible song.

I fix that Tim. It's downloadable now.
Damn it man. You almost had me in tears, just then.
Just know that you are one of the folks here that really inspire me to push myself and not settle.
Still loving "Lucy", actually taking it for a spin, as I type this.
Peace
