I have known a great song today! Listening to the original version came to me a fresh Beatle air (All The Lonely People). Great version in your brilliant style Jim! Peter Gabriel, Genesis territory...Love it!

How did I miss this? I'm a big fan of the Aimee Mann version of this (check it out if you don't know it). Strangely, I didn't know it was a Nilsson song. You've done a wonderful job with this, James. You've added a really melancholic edge to it, and there's a late-night jazzy feel to those chords in places. Superbly sung too. Wow.
