"Brothers All Together"

I'm extremely pleased with how this came out ...
and I really wish I could have been there ...

I think Jim captured JK & Friends classic weekend perfectly on this
and Geir's guitars are absolutely perfect!

I'm proud to be part of another SongCrafter's original ... thanks guys.

Kenny B.

Rhythm Tracks : Kenny B
Lyrics/Vocals   : Oldrottenhead
Lead Guitars    : Geir

We got together for the weekend
In a garden 'neath the sun
Mike on bass and tim on guitar
Me on vox and james on drums

You really had to be there
I wish you could have come
Brothers all together
One for all and all for one

Later we went to the station
Geir and Tharek yet to come
Had a fag then back to mike's house
Singing songs until the dawn

You really had to be there
I wish you could have come
Brothers all together
One for all and all for one

Now the day that we'd been waiting
Was upon us all at once
It was such a special night
For one moment we shone bright
The band was loose the crowd was tight
It felt alright it felt alright

You really had to be there
I wish you could have come
Brothers all together
One for all and all for one

You just know when you see KennyB its gonna be good, real good.....right off the bat........then to see these other two characters..........damn, thats what I call a super collab.  What a vocal........what a flipping lead guitar................and Kenny, your bass is absolutely gorgeous here.  Drum arrangement is very cool, sounds like real drums.  And then there is that second solo......WOW........Great arrangement Kenny-man................3rd solo.........ahhhh.........sounds like frigging Jeff Beck playing on this one.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

That lead guitar is just crazy-cool, and the rest of the tracks are no slouches, either.  8)  Well done, KennyB, Jim, & Geir!

Man, this is tasty. the music is divine. The rhythm work was beautiful, and when Geir's lead tracks came in it was like licking icing off a spoon. I love the lyrics Jim, and feel them more than I ever did.

I said, pardon?

I think this would have quite a bit of a different meaning for MET US...not that there's anything wrong with that!

Amazing guitar sounds all over this. Love the tasty soloing...this is a sweet collab. Nice melody Jim...ya big sap...not that there's anything wrong with that!

This one got me straight away when I heard the sneak preview. The rhythm guitar work sounds so much like the way I play on Jemima's Kite songs! Well, it does to me. It's a beautiful base track (seriously good stuff, Kenny...), and then ORH gives it a real emotional wallop with the lyric and the superb vocal delivery. Love the whacked-out fuzzy lead lines too. An instant classic (although I may be biased, because it's all about such happy memories of mine, lol). Oh yes.
