In the early 1980's I played in a 4 piece ( 2 gtrs, bass, and drums) country rock band called Hearts Of Fire. Like most bands, we needed some promotional demos for "gig getting" purposes. This was way before the ease of digital recording and do it yourself home studios. We went to a local project studio and recorded on an eight track reel to reel about 15 songs in one setting, lol. It was done live with all of us in the same room. We did go back one more time to clean up some vocals and add harmonies. We got this on a cassette tape....remember those? On this song I'm playing rhythm guitar using a Fender Telecaster and Deluxe Reverb amp plus I'm singing the lead vocal. I recently ran across this old cassette recording and converted it to digital then remastered it in my VF160. The song is called Hot red Sweater by Jay Booker...hope you enjoy my blast from the past!

Great stuff.  Always interesting to listeb to recordings from formative years.  I've got some somewhere.  I'll see what I can find, although I might have to post in the "humour" section.
