another very simple one.

used the drums from earlier song and strummed the guitar, gonna do this litlr at some point, but was an experiment on using as few chords and fingers as possible, using the drums from the other song was an afterthought, not sure if it works but here it is for what it's worth lol.

Just add water
Then watch it grow
Take a step back
Then let it go
Cos you can go anywhere
And you can do anything

The quiet life
And peace of mind
Well maybe one day
They will be mine
But you can go anywhere
And you can do anything

It's in your hands
The choice is yours
You have the skills
You have the tools

And don't stop growing
Always learn
That each new day's
A different one

Just add water
Then watch it grow
Take a step back
And let it go
Cos you can go anywhere
And you can do anything

The quiet life
And peace of mind
Well maybe one day
They will be mine
But you can go anywhere
And you can do anything
And you can go anywhere
And you can do anything

Probably because of the jangly guitars and the drums, this is kinda Simple Minds-ish. Either way, it's good to hear your guitar, which sounds great. Folky, some might say.  ;)

I get a folky vibe from this too. I think you may have just invented Scottish Folk Disco, lol.

The guitar works very well - that's a big, lush sound you've got out of it. I'd like to hear some bass on this - I think it would be a nice enhancement.

It's a great song, and it's good to hear you composing on the guitar. Very nicely done indeed.

here is the other song using the same beats also all done with guitar (for a change lol)

I really enjoyed this one, Jim - You are a crafty devil, it sounds great!

You make great sounds from your guitar. Very organic and smooth.

A well crafted song - Love it!

the chords i used are Asus2 and Bm7sus then for the single strum i used Bm then for the offkey part i used the Asus2 shape on the same strings but a bit up the fret board then descended down again. so just one and two fingers really. like i said dead simple, i'm on a mimilast quest to see how few notes i can get away with using.
