This reminds me very much of Conor Oberst's 'Bright Eyes' material. I'm a fan of his, and I'm a big fan of this. This is beautiful - simple but full sounding, with a lovely balance between the guitar and the vox. You've mixed and performed it to perfection.

Did you add the bird sounds, or are those 'live' sounds? It adds a lovely touch at the end.

This style really suits you. More please!

    They be real, live birds. Can't you tell by the accent? I recorded this with the window open, praying a tractor would drive past. Cars don't come by too often. Bit of a first for me, this one. The guitar and vocal were recorded together using the BR mic. I was bent double like some kind of contortionist. The guitar sounds a bit boxy, but then it is a box. Recorded 'naked', with no click, hence the speeding up.
