can you loop midi in a keyboard?

Just wonder if this is possible because I'm considering roland synth SH-01
which has internal GM bank accessible only through midi. I'm thinking if I could
connect this board midi out to midi in would this do the trick?

Hmm... Good question.

I would expect that provided that you are sending and receiving on the correct channels you could. I don;t know if the SH-01 lets you selsct separate send and receive channels. You may have to set local control oddly too.....
