Another fun collaboration with the madman across the water.  Somewhere around here there is a thread about 'Covers you always wished you could do' and I noticed that Oldrottenhead had listed 'Oh, Pretty Woman'.   Well, I happened to have a cover of the song in my archives that I had recorded around 3 years ago.  On that one I tracked guitars, bass, keys, vocals and electronic drums all to Sonar. It was turned into this version with all vocals and the rhythm guitar tracked through the M-BR on-board mic.  (Rhythm guitar played through a Cube amp in the room).  Mr. Higgins on lead vox and Hooper on harmony.

A tribute to the big 'O' and pretty women everywhere.
Hope you enjoy...

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

You boys have done a stupendous job with this. A total classic covered with skill, respect and fun. You should be really proud...

Lovely subdued vocal there, almost reverent.

Nice job guys. Love the clean rhythm guitar tone and the sort of reggae feel in the verses.

Amazing guys. You're a formidable team. The quality of the recording, playing and singing is fantastic. I have run out of superlatives. None mean anything these days. This is so good.

One of the best I've heard here yet.  Love R.O. and this is incredible in it's quality and respect for the original.  I can only bow and mutter "we're not worthy"....
"Honest honey, this is the last guitar I'll ever buy"
