thanks guys,
I'm still trying to get the bass track into my new BR800 as an exercise in learning the process.
Seems a bit fussy at this point.
I may end up doing this in Audacity.

Really nice song.

I loved the melancholy and joyful sound of the guitar (yes, I could hear both in this) and I liked how the additional bass filled out the sound.  The vocals are just the right level of mournfulness.

Well done.

I hope your folks appreciated the tribute.  I know I liked it a lot.

Glenn, is the BR800 capable of doing mixing of tracks onboard?

I just create tracks on the Boss eBand then do the editing, synching and mixing on the computer, using Adobe Audition.

I am wondering about how that would work.

I'm new to the 800 and used the MBR a Korg 1200 and Audacity for a few years previously. (I don't know Audition)
It was easy to do AB punches, multi tracking and FX mixing in them both.
I do see in the manual that the BR800 is designed for those too. but, at first glance, it looks as if it might still be better to use a DAW for more visual adjustments. (Sonar is included and connects for real-time tracking to the BR800 thru USB .. like the BR80 I believe)
I'm trying out a few existing songs like the Damon one as mix practice.

Thanks for the info, Glenn.

Now I'm going to open the manual for the eBand. It probably has the same capabilities seeing as it was built by Boss also.

I learn something new every day. Mostly because I can't remember sh*t so every day is a new adventure.

I'm with you there.
I'm hoping my new combo of BR800 and Sonar (and maybe still Audacity) will do it all once I get familiar with them and stop trying out new things every few months.
I trying hard to do more RTFM and less improvising and hacking.
