I recorded my overdubs with my Gretsch 6120DSW straight in to the Micro BR. I did a fingerstyle track (left speaker) to kind of soften up the backing track, and lay a little more ambience to it. I only used my home computer to clean up the end of the song, and to paste the Andy Summers-like thing at the beginning.

Thanks, Hadlock. I really enjoyed this project, and I like what you and Witchita did on your respective tracks.

The song plays for me. Does it play for you guys?

It plays, hell yea.  I really like that crispy crunchy tone you got there.  Very nice take on this rather goofy backing track.  You don't overpower it with your guitar but flow with it to whever it takes you.  I should take a turn at this myself just for laughs.  Each of you guys came up with something quite different (funny about that Hu).

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

I forgot which guitar amp preset I used in the BR. It was one of the "metal" ones. I used a very hot input signal (overloaded the input level) to make it a little "fuzzy" on top of the distortion in the preset. When I was exporting the song to MP3, I manipulated the Pan of the solo guitar track, varying it between R16 (during the main wank parts) and C00 (for the moments I wanted to emphasize). You can hear the Pan moving if you listen. I didn't think it would work...... I love the BR!

Beautifully played and slightly understated in just the right way. I love all the different takes on this. But I definitely won't be showing myself up by having a go...  :D

Hot!  You kept me in anticipation for some of your hall-mark "lightening boy" riffs and you didn't disappoint!  :o
