I really like this one a lot, bro! Sweet driving acoustic action, awesome slide and those vocal harmonies are perfect!

Songwriting of the highest order, well done!!

Great to see you around again!

Hey! Good to see you on here again!

I love this. You have a great bluegrass stomp going, and those steely slide sounds are just a joy to hear. Really, really stylish. The only thing that's missing (perhaps) is some more harmonies. And a dash of harmonica would sit very nicely in this too. But it sounds amazing as it is.

I'm very much a fan of this type of music, so would love to hear a lot more from you!

Osckilo...BB...thanks for listening and for the vote of confidence. Much appreciated. Man you guys have 7k posts!!
You guys are clearly part of the nucleus here...

Mark & Tim...thanks for the welcome back. Just not enough time to do multiple sites and return reviews on all comments. I'm still in that situation and will probably only review those that review me due to time constraints. Lord knows you could easily spend days on this site listening to all the music posted here. You guys have given me a good boost in confidence in this new direction. Harmony singing is not my strong suit so i use them sparingly. A harp in here would be excellent...i may call my old bandmate James in for that job. Really appreciate you and all the other folks giving me a warm welcome back after my nearly 18 month absence.

Love that guitar sound.

And very accomplished slide playing - makes me realise I haven't practiced mine for months.

I spotted those harmonies as well - they're just right. Do more! :)

What's the resonator? Lovely tone.

Thanks Andy. The resonator on this song is Rogue Spider. Mahogany back and sides, spruce top, painted black. A Musician's Friend "Deal of the Day" special. It's built like a tank, stays in tune great and gives that dobro sound that my brass bodied rez can't come close to (altho the metal rez has it's own tone world) I've really enjoyed using it to record with (live mic) and bought it for a song...like $135 if i recall..it was a few years ago. Overall i have to say i am pretty impressed with Rogue stuff. Bought a violin bass for my brother's 50th b-day and he has played it to death with no issues. My metal rez is also a Rogue and i bought a mando as well. I've read that they do make some lemons at times...maybe i've  just got lucky.

WOW,.....I really enjoyed this, the bass kick really pulls you into the track. Your voice reminds me a liitle of recent Robert Plant stuff. Cheers! ;)

Great guitars too!

Excellent tone on the dobro.  A great foot stomping song which pounds you along.  I never really got the hang of slide playing - but you certainly have.

I thought it might be a wooden bodied one. You've just confirmed what I've been suspecting for some time (don't tell the missus sat next to me) - my brass bodied reso makes a lovely sound, but I reckons I needs wooden bodied one as well :D

What sort of strings are you using? I've just switched to flatwounds on one of my basses, and I'm seriously wondering about sticking flats on the reso now.

PD... thought I'd commented on this one... have had a few listens now. Sounds like some folks are developing some real "GAS" from this post. I say get it Andy... PD thanks for posting... Love your work.
