Here is my attempt at one of my favourite Bowie songs (pity he didnt do it when I went to see him)

The drums and bass are a backer,  I did all the guitars using my Ibanez

Appologies to mick ronson for the last solo, Feels like ive been playing with a cheese grater with all the string bending.

Cheers for listening

Nice job, Ian. I have to admit that I miss the background vocals because I hear them in my head but not in the recording. But the bass is playing the same notes so it still works. Your guitar playing and vocals sound great.

I can't remember if I've asked you this before, but which Ibanez model do you have? I have a 1985 RS-525. This picture isn't mine but it looks exactly the same:

My main guitar for the past few years has been my Godin xtSA which I love. So I seldom use the Ibanez anymore but I still think it's a great guitar. Much lighter than the Godin and it has a thin, wide neck, so it's quite comfortable to play. And 24 frets. I think Ibanez guitars offer very good value.

the only problem is the red paint is textured so if you dont wear a wristband you get a sore wrist

Bluesberry

great job, this has swagger and groove man.  I like it, I like it a lot.  Its like Mott the Hoople kind of Bowie.....deadly........that outro solo is deadly.......deadly.........I like........

I enjoyed this a lot and really liked the last solo. And Ibanez guitars are great IMO, and yours sounds excellent here.

Cheers,

Nigel

Wow nice.

I was trying to remember the year, I had to google it. It's 40 years old this song and sounds fresh and contemporary.

Great guitar sound.
