Stand before the Mirror

Reg stood by the mirror and peered in at himself, he didn't recognise who he saw, the image that peered back out at him didn't resemble who he thought he was and it shook him to his core.............because he thought, he, the man he recognises as Reg was no more.........................it was like part of him had died.

Another day walking by the meadow not seeing the Daisy's

I'm a shadow in the darkness
I feel i'm no more
I feel i've explored every avenue

What would you, do if i was you
When you don't recognize yourself anymore

I tend to drink
I tend to take my head to the brink
Then i try to drown myself
In the Drink
Drink, drink, drink, drink, DRINK

I stand in front of the mirror
I inspect myself close
I don't recognize me, I know it's me looking back at me
I'm afraid of what i see
I'm a shadow of myself
And i'm gone
