It's a Geloso tape open wheel recorder from the 50's.
It have cosm effects and external mic, uses 2gb tape rolls and the colour buttons are for the rhythm machine.
Of course 192k/24bits.

I used to have one of these when I was a teenager:



I wish I had kept it. It was a great little portable recorder. Ran on batteries or AC and had a built-in speaker.

A few years later, I bought one of these, which I still have:

I have mine just as a collector, is a very crappy recorder but it have history and a cool look for a house
It uses 2 tubes!!!! and a third one like a vu-meter.
And have 18 USB 3.0 ports, Wifi and internet explorer.

wow i used to have a grundig reel to reel it too had 18 usb ports but only usb 2. it had 3 firewire ports but no wifi just ethernet. but it came with a radio mic.

Wow!!! Firewire ports!!! that's hi tech!!! maybe the Geloso g257 V2.0 upgrade, by now i have just USB.
It also have a nice "tapita" to avoid dust from the tape reels and heads, really innovator for that age!!!

tapita does that work like dolby too.

If you want a really clean sound you must left the tapita closed and if you open the tapita you will be in dirty land baby!!!
