Most people don't care about the difference in quality. Some are probably accustomed to it since it is all they listen to.

Yes, I agree - And I've noticed some internet radio stations are streaming between 64 and 96K. It doesn't sound that good. Wonder how they get away with it. I did some work on an automated DJ system the other day and I think you can go even lower than that if you want.
