Quote"In the Ghetto" (originally titled "The Vicious Circle") is a song recorded by Elvis Presley and published by Elvis Presley Music in 1969. It was written by Mac Davis and made famous by Elvis Presley who had a major comeback hit with the controversial song in 1969.

We decided to have some fun with this song, the more I worked on the music, the more I really liked the song, then finding all the great cover versions to listen to on U-tube.  Then of course hearing the incredible vocals that Reg laid down to really drive the emotion of the song home, that really made my day.  A labour of love from the RegBerry Trio to you.........

The RegBerry Trio rock out the (only?) socially-conscious Elvis song!

Reg, you've done a great vocal delivery there - lotsa soul, man. Dave, fantastic instrumental backing - love those drums, too!  8)

I wish Elvis had done more songs like this...

Rock friggin solid gents. Regs I'm really impressed with the vocal delivery, incredible insight. Dave, you're a monster now buddy. To me, this may be the best instrumental work you've done to date, and I've had a lot to choose from. It's an awesome listen.
