"Stone" by MET. Otley 2011

I had absolutely nothng to do wth this.

It was recorded in my conservatory by Geir, Tharek, Tim and James. I would have been involved but there were hundreds of hungry mouths to feed and I spent the whole weekend cooking and shopping.

Sheesh!

The piece was recorded live with the BR800 on the floor on a cushion and using the two built in microphones.

Geir and I have just been discussing MET and the band membership. We think that any collaboration between two or more Songcrafters working together in the same physical space is eligible to be a MET song.

This song clearly fits the bill.

MET in this case are Geir Alfsen, Tharek Mokbul, Tim Green and James Higgins.

Just to clarify, I don't think I'm doing any noodling on this one! I think we did a 2nd take where I added something on the 12-string, but I don't think it's this one, lol

I was just sat there in awe. It really is something to be sat in the same room as this kind of musical genius.

cheers tony it was delightful to not have to worry about being too loud and just getting to belt it out. tho i did strain on this one towards the end.

That BR-800 really does a wonderful job of live recording , you lot sound fab , would have given just about anything to have been there
