I recorded this with a Gretsch 6122-1959 Nashville Classic guitar, a Sennheiser E609 mic, and the Micro BR. There is one "rhythm" track panned down the center, one main lead guitar line panned to the left, and another guitar track panned to the right that kinda comes in and out, adding harmonies, etc.

Greeny

Wow! This is really masterful playing. That Gretsch sounds amazing... a real vintage, country twang. I like how you beef it up at the end too. Top quality stuff, and a great way to announce yourself on here. I can definitely see some country-influenced collaborations happening...  ;)

Bluesberry

I really love your style of playing.

Greeny and Bluesberry: thanks for the good words. I usually try to build every tune up to something. In this case, it was just an E7 chord.

Bump.

Was just checking out "On this day" and found this.

Stunning geetar.

Doesn't look like Troy's been around for ages, but - this playing deserves some listening! :)

EDIT: Check out his "Creamed Corn" as well!!
