I hope it is acceptable to use "samples" as part of an original song
If not I apologise......
I was up early so I thought I'd try to stretch myself a bit
(some might say too far)
I wanted to try some new things:
1.try out more guitar tones on my Boss GS-10
2. try and do something that has a least 2 very different parts
( I really want to try a prog song at some stage)
3. try and use some vox samples..(they are scary cos it's hard to construct a song round them)
All the guitars and bass, GR strings and pads are me......
The vox, drums and one of the Synths are 2 bar samples (vox 8 bar samples)
What do you think?

But, is that you singing? I thought your vox was a raspy-kinda blues vox?

The vox is a sample (I wish I could sing like that!)
and the guitar reverse sound is an FX called "slow gear" on my Boss GS-10 multi FX

Use of samples is fine Mike, Neil on here has made it an art form. Love what you did here, it works incredibly well and you did fgreat to build a song round the vox samples. Fits perfectly and superb composition. All the "real" instruments blend superbly with the samples, love the different parts  and it's a great piece of music - well done!!!
