I'm almost done with my "take" on the "PRESS" tune I got from you. It's been fun. I learned a couple of things. I hope to get it done tonight.

Smooth stuff. It sounds great.

It's inspired me to have a go!

I have to disagree Greeny!  I'm a big fan of your music here and I consider you a true musician.  8)

Great vocals, guitar, writing.  As I said somewhere, I'm a hack.  The number of chords I know I can count on 1 hand and only have some piano background as a kid.

Always wanted to be a lead guitar player and dinked around a little with an accoustic over the years but only got an electric a couple years ago that actually inspired me to practice.

As to learning lead, I managed to pick out scales in the key by ear and just keep jamming until a melody sticks.  That's about it.  If I stop playing I lose my place and have to start over (thus the nonstop jamming nature through all my stuff).  :-[

I've found that if I can stay in the key and roughly copy the melody that many (but not all) of the multi-leads will at least partly match up somehow.  You'll notice blank spots I edited out here and there where they clash or got too busy so some cheating is still involved.  :P
