You might find this tune interesting.  I used the pop4 rhythm offset to the music to get a different feel.  Raggae maybe?

I use double rhythm guitar parts, one played open which solos at the end briefly.  That was real hard for me to learn BTW as you'll hear.  ::)

Constructive comments always welcome!

This sounds like something I would do--not necessarily the music, but the messing with the rhythm patterns to get a little more out of the 300 presets on the MBR.

The results are really interesting.  You've shifted the orientation to the pattern either one or three beats, so the snare emphasizes 1 and 3, instead of 2 and 4. But you've made it sound so natural that I'm not sure that other people realized the novelty of your approach (hence the neglect of this topic until now).

It's not quite Reggae.  I was getting an 80's Pop feel here.  Dare I say: Men At Work (more from the guitar tone than from the rhythmic effect).

It sounds quite African to me... kind of feelgood, sunny African pop. I really like this kind of experimentation, and it all hangs together beautifully. Like Ted says, it sounds so easy and natural. This is a lovely listen.

Very well put together - I don't know what style it is, so to me it's Hardlock style!

Great stuff!!

I like it! The rhythm is unique and interesting.

It's unfortunate that it took 15 months to get a comment on this. But I'm sure it's not that people didn't like your song. It's just that the site can get very busy at times and, unfortunately, some gems like this can go unnoticed. I hope everyone will have a look at the posts in the following links and find some more unnoticed treasures to comment on:

Thanks all!  I'd forgot about this piece.  Oh the memories..... :)

As to the site - I'm not sure all the changes that were made in version 2.0 are good but I do like the fact that you can now access a persons songs with just one click.  Very handy!

I'm going to try to make it a point to visit one or two neglected post per week in the Originals board.  This was my first one, and it was worth it.
