GEOFF. now residing in england..ive always admired his vox and lryic.s....
and his many musical capabilities. i especially loved how he added the slide
guitar  to the song ..so hope u like this our first colaboration after many months
im glad to have him back on board..it s truely an honor.below our the words.

First song I have done with Neil for a long time and is based on the song he had posted "Only Yesterday". Just added a few more instruments, lyrics and a vocal - glad you liked.

Interesting and fitting that you use a picture of Elvis for your profile - this reminds me of some of his great late 60s/early 70s ballads. The choir effect is a nice King-like touch. Slide guitar countrifies it, like some of Ronnie Milsap's big hits. A great ballad you've got here - took me back to the country-ish music my dad listened to when I was a kid, which is a nice memory.
