Questions before purchasing.

Yeah, I use it as a MP3 player now. I don't have the "at ease" feeling when using a stand alone MP3 player, though.... 

But I think there are stand alone MP3 players that go for $200 now, so there isn't much of a difference.

it would work ok as mp3 player in a pinch, but it wouldn't be my first choice, when a samsung goes for about $75
the fact that you can do the conversion in the box is very useful though
