THis sounds really good and i listened to the first post a while back. Holdem your vox are very incredible on this. Very hard to do!
 Gene? Did you use the dr 880 for the drums and bass for this? Great job!

I do have to be honest and say it sounds like you guys did everything right but the mix might be outta synch. I bet if you synched all the tracks up again it would be perfect.

Thanks, guys. This is still a work in progress.
The drum track stretched my programming abilities to the breaking point. This song needs a real drummer.

This is not a difficult song to play on the guitar. Most of the licks are repetitive. The lead is made easy by playing in a key that permits using open strings. I did it in E. Part of the solo is played in the first position, the rest is at the first octave position.

It is the vocal that truly makes it memorable, and Holdempok is the unsurpassed master.

I edited the rhythm track and removed some "ghost notes". Made the rest easier to fix.
Did a major redo of the bass track. A part of it contained triplets when there should have been two sustained notes.
A good idea not to play and record when overly tired. Misteaks iz me!

And, resynched Holdempok's solid diamond vocal pipes.

This is the forth edit, and, finally, the last one. I am satisfied with it now.
