This started with the drums.  I was playing around with the idea keeping a steady beat with the feet (bass and hi-hat) and then playing whatever comes to mind with the hands.  I was watching the jazz drummer Max Roach on U-tube and he did this kind of thing a lot.  So I thought I would play with the idea.  Recorded the drums and added the rest after based on the drums.  Kind of like a psychedelic jazz kind of idea.

This is monster jazz, bro! It sounds like you had a 3 piece band hanging out at the house. The was an essence of FZ in my ears at times which is always a cool thing in my book.

Great job with the drumming too, Dave!! You are becoming a natural!

Sweetness in all forms!

Far out acid jam session, man!  8)

All this drumming has got me thinking about picking up a Yamaha DD-65 (don't have room for an HD-1, and the missus would probably kill me if I did have the room). The one thing holding me back (just...) is the idea of doing more than two things at a time on them!

Didn't want to rush through this one , so I waited.
Yea Davey sounds beaut. Lots of lead action going on, a busy song, sounds like a whole lotta fun, and you're bangin those skins like a pro now.
Ah, gonna grab another Rickards now, great listen.

Are you starting the blueberry's trio (or quartet) after mrkewl's? You are in the right direction (with your own style).

Your drumming is starting to look impressive! Well done, mate!
