Hi guys!
I haven't posted any music in a long while, but I recorded this quick one the other night, and I'm quite pleased with it. It's The Beatles' "And I Love Her". It's a lovely tune, and I had just listened to Paul McCartney's acoustic version (possibly from MTV Unplugged), which is where I got the harmony. It's recorded using the feature on the Micro BR where you record from the guitar input and the built-in mic at the same time. First I recorded the rythm guitar and lead vocals on one channel, and then the harmony with a short guitar solo at the end.

Oh I'm sorry! This was posted by me, sq51, but I forgot to log out from my father's account on the forum!

Nice job, sq51.  I've added this to the BeatlesFest jukebox.

One bit of advice. Always set your levels as high as possible without clipping. Here's a good video that explains why:

The overall level on your recording is much too low. Here's how it looks in Audacity:

I boosted the levels so that it looks like this in Audacity:

I've attached the boosted version to your second message and I'll use it in the BeatlesFest jukebox too.

I hope that helps.

Great, thank you.
I understand what you're saying about setting the level too low, and I'll think about that in the future. But this recording was just a quick recording in the evening, and I didn't have any thoughts about setting the level. Thanks for the advice, though.
