Unusual choice, I'm not familiar with it but it sure sounds like Bowie. Great work.

A great song by David Bowie and the Pat Metheny Group which you've covered very well. Nice job!

But I think you should have made Giacomino sing the Italian version.   ;)

This is not america,
shala la la la
qualcosa muore in te,
qualcosa muore in me, ormai
( this is not a miracle )
siamo senza alcun potere
fiori chiusi nel destino che non sbocciano,
forse ( this is not america )
anche l'anima è virtuale ?
Ma il vento che piegava gli alberi
mostrava le profondità di orizzonti
e prospettive in noi
For this is not america,
Sha la la la la
This is not america, no,
this is not,
Sha la la la la
io non voglio consacrarmi a una vita
che mi da (this could be the biggest sky)
solo paure e aggressività
Qualcosa muore in te,
qualcosa muore in me
ma non ( this could be a miracle )
questo senso di eternità
il vento che piegava gli alberi
mostrava le profondità di orizzonti intangibili
This is not america,
Sha la la la la
This is not america, no,
this is not,
Sha la la la la
This is not america, no,
this is not
This is not america, no,
this is not,
Sha la la la la

I hadn't heard this song before, but it's got all the tell-tale Bowie markings on it. I love all the modulation, and it's smoothness, both musically and vocally.

Beautifully done, fellas!  8)

ARGGGGGHHHH!!!!

This was the song I wanted to cover (and probably will!) I was very young when the song came out, and I was intrigued by the videoclip (the guy killing the falcon and Sean Penn marking the posts). Only later I started to love the song, but it wasn't until very recently I learned it was a Pat Metheny song (hard to admit Fusion Jazz is on my genes  ;) ).

Well done with your version! Incredible vocals (main line/ chorus - it is difficult!!!) and synth guitar in the end!

FYI, here's PM' instrumental (named "Chris"):
