Love this piece!!! Beautyful melody!
The sounds are amazing, all the effects you use are important to give this flavor of end sixties and debut sixties musical sounds...
Une vraie réussite!!!

Well done Geir! Your vocal sounds great and the flange effect your using gives a lot of movement to the track. I'm gonna have to get me one of those Djembes, it works well in here.

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Loved it, Geir!

The music has a gliding feel to it that I always associate with Sixties psych, and the wah-wahs and djembe are killer touches. I've been listening to a collection of Scandinavian psych from the Sixties recently, and your song wouldn't be out of place on it at all!  :)

Incredible song. I have to listen to it again, because there is something changing the song in the middle, and I couldn't understand what it was. Love the bass and teh organ!

Quote from: Bluesberry on May 07, 2011, 01:15:46 PMHow did you get the drums to sound so off and so on at the same time, that psychedelic man.
oh that's easy Dave .... I'm no drummer ;D

Quote from: Johnbee on May 08, 2011, 04:03:49 PMMan, I love that effect on the vocals!  Is that part of the MBR too?
Yes and no. The effects I used are also present on the mbr, but not all at once. I've done similar effects on the mbr tho'. You just have to do it in two steps. 1. record the vocals with a chorus (or flanger) effect.  2. bounce the track using PAN-TRI mode on the panning effect, and a TAP-type delay effect and a tad of reverb to a stereo track .

I'm no drummer ;D ... no seriously, there's a "resting" measure in there that's not 4/4 before I pick up the pace again.
