originally did this one as a parody for the comedyfest https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=8867.msg118513#msg118513 so dug out the songfolder and redid it with the correct lyrics. hope i've not spoiled a great song.

I really dug your parody of this Jim, but I'm going to have give the edge to your straight-ahead re-reading here. You're ticking all the right emotions in your vocal delivery.

Had a couple of listens to this, and I love it. Really haunting spacey treatment.  Love those keys

I liked it, but I have to say some of the impact of the original is lost but it's may all time fave Bowie song and I think it is near perfect as it is, Bowie's phrasing and singing on that track is stunning. And the guitar and arrangement can't be beat, the dynamics are magical. So this doesn't have the impact of the original for me but I enjoyed it for what it is, a tribute to a man at the peak of his creative powers. He was a huge influence on Brits of our generation.

Cheers,

Nigel

PS But I'll add it's growing more and more on me. Those keys are very cool. I'm finding this Bowiefest a bit weird, because I know most of the tracks so well I can't really disconnect from the originals, most of which I think are perfect.
