Now this is a great tune... way to tell the story bro... Hit home for me... I'm a 15 year machinist... now in IT. I can tell ya all of my machine shop buddies are really gonna dig this one when I send it their way. I'm still lookin for that train to normal bro. This is great.

BTW that was soooo creative how you did the ending... representing the feel of the train very well.

I have listened to this a few times, and I keep forgetting to comment.  What the hell can I say other than, totally pro song.  Great song man.  I love the use of the name Floyd, that was my dad's name, a name near and dear to my heart.

Yes, a well written song that sounds pro all over!! I love the style, kind of a Weir/Dead with a little Cash mixed in. Great job with this, fantastic tune!!

This song is just top-notch quality in every way!

The song, the music, the vocals, and the production are incredible.

You should send to nashville. Some Cuntry artist should pick it up!

Thanks Mark! When I wrote this song I had Johnny Cash in mind. He could have done an incredible job with this song. I've been listening to more of his outlaw albums lately and I think some stuck to me. If he were alive, I would send the song to him....but there's only one Johnny Cash. I've been trying to think of another singer to send it to but so far no one has come to mind.

Thanks!

Great story Farrell.

Great song. Got some "Red Sovine", "Bruce Cockburn" and "Stompin' Tom Connors" flavours all going on in there man.
That Tak sounds sweet.

Very well written, performed and recorded. That ending is really good too.

Fantastic post.
It ain't pretty being easy.

Really interesting song and beautifully performed.  And a very impressive recording as well.  I could hear Johnny Cash singing this for sure.  The start however reminded me of Talking Heads for some reason - perhaps it was the road to nowhere?  I also liked the ending - predicatable but you pulled it off.  Really well done!
