Really good song man, I've given it a few listens.  Real nice smooth yet grungy feel.  Your vocals sound very good here.  I would be tempted to have some vocal harmony stuff at the chorus.  I don't know what to think of the spoken word part, I understand why it is here, but it makes it feel slightly odd.  Maybe if the spoken words were more like a counterpoint vocal weaving through the song.  Like what Neil Young does on his Dangerbird song, maybe that would sound good, bring them further into the song, but as a counterpoint to the main melody, working against it.  Great solos.  Drums maybe...... I believe this one of your strongest songs.

I really like this song, grungy but melodic - maybe I'd dirty up the vocals towards the end, to sort of build up a crescendo, with drums kicking in - but what do I know either!....

Yeah i do love those muddy guitars and the song is your best to me too. I do agre with Vann to tone down the cuckoos.
