kenneth heard one of my old bunkbeds tunes "the sea of tranquility" and was curious as to what i had in my archive. so i sent him some really old ones. my old stuff are very rough  due to my lack of musical skills so the idea was for kenneth to redo them.  one of the songs was called "it's been so long",it is the second oldest song in my archive not my second ever song a lot of the earlier songs are lost forever but the second oldest song remaining.

so kenneth rushed through it very quickly (he thought he messed it up) he didn't he created something new and better. so inspired and fired up i rewrote a new lyric for it but keeping the title. so it's now a new honker song.

cheers kenneth you made an old man happy.
It's been so long
It's been so long
What I rememberd's
Become something else
the template's rusted
through the years
Warped reshaped
And now transformed
Like a Chinese whisper
But the essence remains
Stronger clearer
And true today
As true as it always was
As pure as the water
That comes from the hills

The feeling still there
Softer lighter harder faster
As if by chance
By accident
A happy re-imagining
The feeling still there
Softer lighter harder faster

It's been so long
It's been so long

The feeling still there
Softer lighter harder faster
As if by chance
By accident
A happy re-imagining
The feeling still there
Softer lighter harder faster

It's been so long
It's been so long
