As you'll hear, I leaned heavily on my Beatles influences for this song.
A re-mastered version by LANDR
Farrell Jackson - Music and vocals.
Orchid Faded Sky refers to the beautiful pink/orange color that some sunrises & sunsets take on due to polluted air. This is my subtle protest song. A sort of beauty & the beast.
Enjoy!

"Orchid Faded Sky"

Just fell out of a fairy tale
Flying low without a sail
Just inches from the ground
Looking up and falling down

The air burns my eyes
It's another painted, orchid faded sky

Gloomers ,doomers, and boomers alike
Searching for another pay hike
Multi-zones and climate controls
Spare parts from future clones

The air burns my eyes
It's another painted, orchid faded sky

Just another painted sky
Orchestrated, calculated rye
Just another orchid faded sky...........

(solo)

The air burns my eyes
It's another painted, orchid faded sky

Billionaires just having fun
Flying spaceships to the sun
Driver friendly steering wheels
They cure it all with dollar bills

The air burns my eyes
It's another painted, orchid faded sky

Hi Geir and thanks for the warm welcome! Here's my set up:

I suppose my style is mostly acoustic rock and classic rock. I record to a Fostex VF160 standalone Daw. I use Fender, Gibson, Epiphone, and Takamine guitars. I strictly use tube amps, mostly Fenders, but I have others. For mics I use Neumann, Akg, Shure, Electro Voice and MXL.

Cheers!
