Hello my friends   :D

I have been away too long.. after a crazy period of not playing for over 6 months I finally picked up the trusty axe tonight. She had not even been out of her case in over half a year. After plugging up and tuning up (and a quick relearn of my Micro BR)... I found some of my old settings, and started working with a track Chrome and I had been playing with months and months ago. Some of you may remember we had about 8 new tracks we were gonna try to develop.

So after this had been sitting for so long I started laying down guitars into it. It is far from done, but wow brings back memories... and things started flowing like the ole days after just 30 mins of playing.. this is from a few hours tonight.. and lol my fingers are burning. Plan to finish it up over the next few days and I'll repost. In the mean time need to catch up on all the great new music posted here.

Ray, what a pleasure to hear you back here! I've not been on the site much due to work and private commitments but had a couple of minutes so jumped on a saw you'd posted something, so had to have a quick listen. Really enjoying this, love the way the heavy guitar plays off against the synth melody and all there's your classic "big" sound going on here with a really powerful buildup going on.

Looking forward to hearing what you can do with this! One thing to work on - see if you can tame that snare sound a bit in the mix. It's just a little prominent for me, if you could beef it up a biot it would sit better in the mix. But I really enjoyed this as it is' keep working on it and let's hear those other tracks soon!

Cheers,

Nigel

Well thanks everyone, and I tell you.. it is great to see all you still here and playing. Been a bit busy but I do want to check out what all of you guys have been up to.

Nigel.. GREAT to see you. Yeah.. that snare is rough, needs to be much lower... but as you know lol.. the synth/drum track was recorded a while ago, and I guess would have to be recorded or at the very least I need to find some kinda software to edit just that one thing.. what I have is not cutting it. Any ideas??

This was a straight dump from the BR too.. I should have mastered it first in "mixdown".. sounds much better. Don't like how you can't add new mp3's to your threads anymore.. ah well.
