Thanks everybody really glad you like it and Gritter you are absolutely right the line  is 'why do I sing?' it was just an unfortunate  typo - is the line itself actually from a Robert Cray song as I know who is singing the two lines and I had sort of presumed (probably wrongly)  that it was from one of his own songs. I'm busy trying to get in touch with him to see if he will let me use the sample or ideally if he would guest on a track or two with some lead vocals and blues harp.

Truely outstanding "true blues" in all regards!  Right up my alley.  Tremendous guitar work and vocals!  It's a keeper for sure!

Gee, if you can't get permission on the tag lines, I'd suggest changing them some and singing them yourself (that is of course if the rest of the vocals you sang are different than the original song?)

Thanks Hardlock - yes I think I'd probably just change it to why do I stay or something like that as all of the other words are mine. I'm quite hopeful about getting permission to use the sample as I'm in touch with the artists representative now and he seems to really like the track - only time will tell
