One of the most beautiful movies with a sport theme.

The soundtrack is too much famous, it doesn't require any introduction.

Just my Seagull acoustic guitar, passing through a Yamaha Acoustic MagicStomp, in my new Zoom R-16 digital recorder. Nothing else.

Enjoy!  :)

A wonderful cover, Alfredo!

Although this doesn't qualify for FaBFest, I just realised that it's perfect for Unplugged Fest, so I've added it to that jukebox. I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. Jim and I did a cover of Jon & Vangelis' "I'll Find My Way Home" for Unplugged Fest. Both songs featured Vangelis' synths in the original versions, so they're good choices for Unplugged Fest.

I have always loved this melody.

This is perfectly played and beautifully recorded.

Nice job!

Fantastic recording Alfredo. This has absolutely the right touch.

Which Seagull do you have? I recently picked up a Performer CW.

Thanks everybody!

Tony, my Seagull is this one:

...so probably it's exactly the same you have picked up...

Ciao!

Yep, that's the same model! It wasn't the Maple that got me, it was how well it plays finger style that really drew me in. I can't stay away from that guitar for very long, though, I think you must have gotten a better one than mine, it sure sounds better.

Tony, I agree, it's a very comfortable guitar for me. Even better for fingerstyle playing. I think the main reason is that the fretboard is a little wider than usual (I love guitars with wide and slim necks, probably since my hands are rather big). I've bought it three years ago, and it's a little different form the one actually sold, since it's top is much darker and the amplifying system seems a little different.

Anyway, I don't think mine sounds anyway better than yours...the differences are all in the acoustic guitar processor I use when I record it, the old and glorious Yamaha MagicStomp Acoustic

http://www.magicstomp.com/acoustic/index.html

...that makes the sound rich and full. Not easy to find today, since it's out of stock since some years, but if you find one, I recommend it...

LOL, BTW I had completely misunderstood the meaning of the FabFest  :D , and I had realised another cover, this too for plain acoustic guitar...
