I'd say that the RRP or SSP or whaterver it is will have GST included.

We are used to getting everything at a higher price here.  We get charged more for all kinds of imports and we have a high degree of seller concentration for the more popular musical items. However, prices have dropped a bit since the exchange rate has improved for us.

Quote from: Gnasty on April 13, 2011, 04:38:59 PMHave we found out how to mic an amplifier with a sm57, will it be done the same way with the br-80 as with the Mbr?

i've found that using a preamp/mixer to line in is the way go there.
in the br600 world you can plug the mic directly in. although, i prefer a preamp/mixer with the br600 as well.

Actually i just used the adapter for the sm57 straight into the mbr and i got great recordings.

I just put a deposit down and pre-ordered a Micro Br-80 at Long & Mcquade.

The guy wouldn`t give me an exact date but said they were coming in June sometime.

They`re gonna email me when it`s there. Can`t wait!!

You had me at pitch correction.

I'm hoping that it also comes with the MHIAD* feature that I desperately need.

Hey, been awhile. At the link below, they list the BR-80 as In Stock for $299 free US shipping. And to UK using UPS Express 2-4 days, works out at just under £230.00 at the time of posting.

I already paid for mine at http://www.htfr.com/p/393885/boss_micro_br_br_80_portable_digital_recorder
and have been told their supplier has them in stock and will be delivered with-in a weeks time. (believe it when I hold it).

Looking forward to the Eband mode.

GigaSonic is lying. They've had "In Stock" on their website since the BR-80 was announced last month. Roland and most of the online retailers are saying it won't be available until July. And the BR-80 Owner's Manual has not yet appeared on any Roland websites. In the past, they've usually posted the manual on their website before releasing the product.

See this topic for more on BR-80 availability:
