I was thinking "guys, GUYS... don't get so excited, how good can it be?"

Then I followed the links...

Don't count me in yet... but after my experiences with the MBR... owning a (Boss) pocket-sized hand-held that can do 8 simultaneous tracks almost sounds like a no brainer to me!

Magnificent... hope it lives up to its specs :)

Agree with Dave!

Micro BR has been THE MULTITRACK RECORDER for me, because it was the first one (I own Korg SOS and BR-800, too and I like them). However, Micro BR is the recorder that I prefer...it is handy and maybe it is a bit emotional thing, too :) . I was just thinking to order a lots of 1gb SD cards and maybe another Micro BR, too (just in case for the future). BR80 seems to have much more features and SD/SDHC memory card up to 32 GB. It is also quite inexpensive.

Yes, the first symptoms of GAS are creeping in...

And I agree with Kari........even though I have the big bad BR-1200 now, i still use my microBR all the time.  4 out of the last 5 songs that I have done have been with the micro.  I just love the portability of the thing.  If this new one is as good as it looks, it will be a real great addition.  I really like the sound of the eband features too, huge amount of backing tracks for practice, and you can change not only the tempo, but also the key, thats a big deal for me.

I love the New Features. The Micro Br is the reason why I started to record and the way I found
this Great Website. Anyone Know the release date here in the US and the Price?
or has that not been announced yet?  I love the eband feature as well.
Pitch correction for vocals is a BIG Plus also!
AKK! my stomach Hurts!! GASSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like my M-BR, and I understand the constraints given its wonderful little size, but I don't see myself buying another recorder without faders.

I've been known to be in denial before, though.

I want one. But my MBR is in excellent shape and I love it. July is a long ways away, though!! Two things that I could not find out about in the literature:

1. Track editing
2. Drum pattern editing (Or at least the ability to import drum track editor files)

While there are some impressive improvements such as the stereo mic, guitar/bass/vocal effects and 8 playback channels, the two features I mentioned are without doubt the most important reason to upgrade.

Unless, of course, you are lacking a computer recording interface - It's a no brainer considering the price, bitrate and zero latency. Small price to pay and have a completely portable device as an added bonus.
