Another experiment with the GR-55 guitar synth. The Celtic harp, the two fiddles and the flute are a Godin ACS-SA guitar going in the GR-55.

Many artists have recorded this beautiful Irish air, but surely the most famous version is the one by the great Chieftains, that is in the Original Soundtrack of "Barry Lyndon".

This one is dedicated to Elvira, may she rest in peace.

Very nice, Alfredo. You're giving me GAS* for a guitar synth. Doctors aren't supposed to give people syndromes. They're supposed to cure them of their syndromes.  :D



* The results of a quick web search suggest that Walter Becker of Steely Dan coined this phrase in a 1996 article in Guitar Player magazine (see the link above). I'm not sure if that's true as I thought I'd heard the phrase earlier than that. But I could be mistaken.

...and that's what I try to do everyday in my professional life, but...did you ever hear about Dr. Jekill/Mr Hyde?  ;D
